Farook College, August 11, 2023: The Farook College AVT Auditorium was the vibrant setting for an intellectually stimulating Workshop titled "A talk on Mastering Innovative Digital Library Design" on August 11, 2023. The event brought together a diverse audience, ranging from library science enthusiasts to tech-savvy individuals, all eager to explore the dynamic intersection of design and digital libraries.

The Workshop kicked off with a warm welcome speech by Shabna, the Head of the Department of Library Science. She eloquently set the stage for the event, highlighting the importance of innovative design in shaping the future of digital libraries. Shabna's words resonated with the attendees, setting a tone of enthusiasm and anticipation for the upcoming discussions.

Dr. Mansoor, the esteemed Librarian of Farook College, inaugurated the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. His presence added a touch of academic prestige to the Workshop, reinforcing the commitment of Farook College to fostering knowledge-sharing and intellectual growth.

The highly anticipated guest speaker, Nasar OM, graced the stage and immediately captivated the audience with his dynamic presence. Nasar OM, recognized as the Head Librarian of Whitefield Global School in Bangalore and a versatile Social Media Strategist and Freelance Web & Graphic Designer, shared his extensive expertise in both library science and digital design.

About Nasar

                                         He  was born in Vadakara (Kerala) on 30th December. His father’s name is Ibrahim and his mother's name is Sara. He has one brother and a sister. His current location is at Purameri near Nadapuram, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. he currently working with New Gulf Indian School, kuwait. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Farook College, Calicut in 2013. After that, He Post graduated integrated MLISc in 2016 from Farook College (Autonomous), He completed Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Post Graduate Diploma in Functional Arabic  (PGDFA) , and pursuing MBA in Human Resources.
