Course summary
This free course provides an introduction to school librarianship. The course is designed to develop learners’ confidence and skills in delivering a library service in schools. It could be of use to librarians with little or no knowledge as well as those with experience who are looking to upskill. This statement serves as proof of the successful completion of a course accredited by the CPD Standards Office. You have earned 24 CPD points through your participation in this course.
Learning outcomes By completing this course, the learner should be able to:
recognise the ways the library can support whole-school reading literacy, information literacy and research skills identify and use the appropriate strategies to deliver a service in the library use resources, confidently and critically, to meet library stakeholders’ needs and fulfil an agreed development plan reflect proactively on performance levels and identify steps for further development.

About Nasar

                                         He  was born in Vadakara (Kerala) on 30th December. His father’s name is Ibrahim and his mother's name is Sara. He has one brother and a sister. His current location is at Purameri near Nadapuram, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. He works with the New Gulf Indian School in Kuwait. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Farook College, Calicut in 2013. After that, He Post graduated integrated MLISc in 2016 from Farook College (Autonomous), He completed Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Post Graduate Diploma in Functional Arabic  (PGDFA) , and pursuing MBA in Human Resources.
